At World's End.. good or bad?

Arh.. finally the third of the trilogy we have all been waiting for. Full of action and the occassional humor. And remember to stay till after the credit for an extra bit of the ending. (If you got the time to spare, the credit is damn f**king long)

An overall nice show and Keira Knightly looks good in the semi oriental-armoured pirate costume. But.. a huge but... we were all confused about the end result of the fight.

It is like this bloody huge ship from the government with three huge row of cannons mounted to it was sunk without putting up a fight. The commander just stood there in shock while his ship was being blown into pieces. Hmm.. will someone mind explaining to me why a commander, the supposed 'bad' guy in the show, will be standing there when all he need to do was to shout 'fire!' and the Black Pearl will be sunk.

After spending all his effort to get to the pirates with a huge army behind his back, how is it that he is so crap at the battle? And why is he so far in front of his front line? It is amusing how the plot twist and turned but I do feel that the ending was alittle rushed as the rest of the story already took up over two hours.

Still a good show.. I'll give it a 3 1/2 out of 5.. could have done better. The ending sure left alot of slacks to produce a 4th show to this series.

Pie... Chicken Pie..

Wow... Don Pie Club!!.. Today my Mum went out with her sisters (my Aunt) and came home with this!! She told us our cousin bought it and asked aunt to give us a box. Tell you what.. this pie is really filling. 2 pieces you will feel a little full.. if you hit 4 pieces, you will be bloated.

For people who always complain that pie are full of flour and thick crust(cheat your money).. this pie is just the one for you. It is full of chunky bits of chicken with half a hard-boil egg in each section (if you noticed, the pie has 6 'lumps' on top, these divides it into 6 sections). The rich creamy filling and great taste will have your mouth watering.

Scare that the pies are too big to finish?? Don't worry!!.. there is kid's pie.. a smaller version kids can finish or adult can buy if they are not looking for a full meal.

Every step of the way...

In life we always wonder where our next step or decision is going to lead us. And most of us refuse to admit it, but venturing into the uncertain scares us. Who doesn't want a good life? A life where you can enjoy and be happy all the time but that is not what life is about isn't it?

People will be around you when times are good, but it is when the going gets tough, will there be a test of character. As the saying goes.."share your joys and woes".. So it is important to be patient and supportive towards the people you care about. Just be there to offer a pillar of strength, to offer a shoulder to lean on in time of need.. No word will have to be said, because just by being there is always enough.

Take care peeps!!

We're Proud of you Liverpool

Liverpool lose 2-1 to AC Milan in the Champions League Final. Well.. In football, there is always a winner and a loser, and we lose this time. We can talk about luck and referees, but ultimately, we lose.

But we lose with our chin up and pride intact, because the performance is a good one. Walk on lads, with hopes in your heart, 'cos you'll never walk alone.

Liverpool FC.. UEFA Champions League Final 2007. Athens

This is it... twice in 3 years.. Liverpool reaches the Final of the UEFA Champions League Final. This time the match will be held in Athens.. Ahh.. Greece. The opponent will be the team we faced 2 years ago in Istanbul.. AC Milan. Wow... what a fairy tale this is going to be.. As the English League draws to a close last week, most of my friends are looking forward to the start of next season. But for Liverpool fans all over the world.. our entire season boils down to this.. 2 days from now.

<<Kaka vs Gerrard
It hasn't sunk in yet to be honest, examinations and stuff, but rest assure that the anxiety will sink in as the match draws nearer. Analysing the match on Liverpool forum. Most people will realise that Liverpool will need to stop Kaka and we must not neglect Seedorf and Prilo whose influence in the pitch are sometimes under-rated by many.

So here I hope Liverpool will start the match with a positive attitude.. with either of these lineup:
---------------Reina---------------
Finnan--Carragher--Agger--Risse
--------Mascherano---Alonso--------
Pennant-------Gerrard---------Kewell
-----------Kuyt or Crouch-----------

OR

---------------Reina---------------
------Arbeloa--Carragher--Agger------
--------Mascherano---Alonso--------

---------Bellamy-----Kuyt or Crouch-----

OR

Some people blame 'him'...

There was once a man who was trapped on the roof of his house during a flood with no way of escaping. With the water level rising fast, the fear of drowning strikes him. With no other option, he prayed to God. "Please save me from the flood, my lord."
As a kayat passed by, they called out to him to go with them but he refused,"God will save me." He said. The moments passed and a boat came by but he turned them down once again. Finally a helicopter came by and still he refuses to go.
Finally when he drowned, he saw god and he asked,"Why didn't you save me?"
With that God replied,"I sent a kayat, a boat and even a helicopter but you turned them down."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The story with abit of humor has its underlining meaning. Recently a friend of mine broke up with her bf, depressed, upset.. all these are understandable. She turned to God for solace, I was glad that she is trying to help herself, but as time passed, her blog sounded of desperation. Then she said a few times on her blog, that "why did God not help her?", "Why did God not bring him back to her?"

Now stop there.. this is wrong. Let it go. God is always there for us all and guide us in times of our need, the answer is always around us. We look to him for guidence, not for something we want. Sometimes the 'answer' is not what we wanted, that is why you are rejecting it and still trying to seek 'answers'. Don't blame 'Him', he had given you the guidence, you choose to reject it. I am not like others who are going to say nice things to 'make you feel better'. I tell you facts of life and wish you will wake up, and grow up. Move on.. the guy make it clear enough to you. Open your mind and look at the world with an open heart. You seek God, you seek a psychiatrist but if you are not open to their help, then everything will still be useless. Thats all I have to say.

Hope everyone will realise that, no matter what we do, face it will a clear conscience and with courage. Food for thought, Take care everyone.
